It was a privilege to work with Qual Tex Labs and BioBridge Global here in the Atlanta area and San Antonio. Leaders in the bio-science industry, and home to one of the few Zika testing machines in the country. I had the opportunity to film this machine as it was being newly installed last year.
Love of Work, Love of Life
So much has happened in my life, and the life of my company Eric Little Photography, over the past several months. Myself and my team have filmed many commercials for, and testimonials for regional hospitals, created training videos for food companies, filmed a new blood sample machine for the Zika virus, filmed with Dell and the Atlanta Braves and local outlet malls with Scott Smith, also filmed in Vegas , Florida, St. Louis and other regional areas. Just this past month I was filming with a good friend of mine, Rich Fiallo, in Alaska, while my team headed by James Dunn and Shannon Johnson were filming in Miami, all in the same week. Truly taking this company coast to coast. So many good things happening, making this 14th year in business really dynamic for growth. I am looking forward to the future and all that it holds. Too busy to blog, but do I have a treasure of videos and photos to share in the next few weeks from all of the past excitement.
Now on to life. I do have to pay my regards to my mom. We too have been saddened by a great loss in my family. My mom had passed this past month, fighting cancer for the past several months. Finding time between all of the shoots, just wasn’t enough time. The past years of my life will never be enough. My lesson, spend time with those you love. Find time, enjoy life. You may enjoy work and all that it brings, but it will never bring back the memories you make with friends and family. My mom was a great lady. We are not all perfect, but she taught me my work ethic. She was working a job at age 77, up until 3 months ago when she could just not function anymore. Sometimes she worked 2 or 3 jobs. She was strong and sometimes hard headed, but she lived how she wanted to live, and she died with the love of her family around her, especially my sister Beverly, whom I owe a great deal. She and my father pushed me to be what I wanted to be. They put that first camera in my hands, they gave me the subscriptions to National Geographic that inspired me, they taught me to work hard at everything I do. I pay homage to them both. Thank you mom and dad, God speed to Heaven above, I love you both, and miss you more than one can bear. I am happy that you are with me everyday. I hold you close.

Iron Wolfe Academy Commercial
I am so proud to have been a part of making this commercial for Caleb Holland and Iron Wolfe Academy in Braselton, Georgia. Caleb has been my Tang Soo Do instructor for several years now. Granted that I do not train as often as I should, I think this commercial is pushing me to hit the mat even more. I love the sport and what it offers me as an individual and to families around the area. Happy for Iron Wolf Academy and Caleb. I would like to think I played a small role in him beginning this studio. Iron Wolfe Academy has a bright future! #EricLittlePhotography #IronWolfAcademy #TangSooDo #BrazilianJiuJitsu
Thomas Steele Family Photo Session
Found a great little spot in Lilburn, Georgia to shoot a family photo session for the Thomas Steele family. This was just after Christmas 2015, a very cold, wet day. They were troopers, even the little ones. Happy I was able to get this shoot in for them, as the family was coming in from around the country. #EricLittlePhotography #FamilyPhotosInAtlanta #AtlantaPhotographer
5 Linx Orlando
A great learning experience again with 5 Linx. Such a great organization surrounded by great people. Every one of these events I attend I see more and more that this is a family. All just trying to help one another along. You can see the happiness in the attendees faces, and the heartfelt teaching of those that make the stage. I am so glad to be part of this experience, and that I and Rich Fiallo are able to capture the photos and video for them to share the dream. #5LINX #ERICLITTLEPHOTOGRAPHY #5LINXINTERNATIONALEVENT #ORLANDOCONVENTIONS
Photo Session with Delaware North at the Atlanta Braves
We have had a great opportunity offered by Delaware North, the new food service vendor for the Atlanta Braves. Our team of Scott Smith Studio and Eric Little Photography were invited to the field to provide a photo session for this great company. Delaware North, a major vendor for Wimbledon, the Stanley Cup, and Wrigley Field, just to name a few. A company whos mission is to keep the client first, just as we strive to provide. We look forward to working with Delaware North in the upcoming Braves season and into the coming seasons.#DelawareNorth #EricLittlePhotography #AtlantaBraves #ScottSmithStudio
John Portman and the Hotel Indigo in Atlanta
I had the honor of filming the dedication of the Hotel Indigo in Downtown Atlanta for PPI Productions and John Portman. This is to be his last creation so it seems. He has had many years of building and designing this iconic city of Atlanta and the downtown areas, and this is a good location to put the period at the end of the sentence. The Hotel Indigo sits adjacent to his America’s Mart trading hub and has a beautiful interior. I have had the opportunity to film many things for John Portman and his family over the past few years and I do look forward to his name continuing to grow.
Tropical Smoothie
A new commercial piece for a new company in the Atlanta Metro area, “Tropical Smoothie”. Filmed this with Kevin and Active Productions. The patrons seemed to really enjoy the location and were eager to help out by playing a part in the video. This will be a growing trend in Atlanta I am sure.
Haven’t posted in a while, but I am still here.
It has been some time since my last post. here on my site, but the last several years have been fantastic. I am not much on keeping up with Blogging and Facebook, simply because I love to shoot, but I need to find that time to share my experiences as well. Please forgive me if I shoot better than I write, but I plan to fill you in on the experiences I have not been posting about, just so you know I am still here and not going anywhere except up. Creating a better skill set and learning more with every new experience. Supported by my beautiful and loving wife, which we had just celebrated 12 wonderful years of marriage, and a beautiful daughter that makes it all worth while.
Just this last month I have traveled more than ever, shooting in Miami, the Bahamas, Chicago, Washington D.C and to top it off Greece and Turkey. It was all a great experience. Greece topped it all off, standing atop the Acropolis was a dream come true. Shooting on the beaches of Santorini and the beautiful whitewashed chapels in Oia. Breathtaking. I will certainly share those images with you.
Backing up, over the past year I have photographed and video captured many weddings and numerous corporate events. So many fantastic events, I should be sharing them all and I plan to.
I have started a new company with two great friends, Scott Smith and James Dunn, we call ourselves Image Media Works. Working together we are pushing the corporate limits, filming commercials, testimonials, corporate events for Cartoon Network with Usher and Blake Shelton, with Capital One with Sting and Dave Matthews, The Atlanta Braves, Delta and many more. It has been great fun and we are growing.
I love what I do, and with all the new experiences and growth in technology it makes me want for more. I do plan to keep shooting weddings and portraiture, family to corporate. It all makes life so much fun.
Stick around as I share some of the past years events and then some.
HDV-Z96 LED Photo/Video Light Review
[nggallery id=37]
For a while now I have been using Lowell I Lights for most of my video work. I have had a few colleagues try to persuade me begin using the LED lights. I held my ground for a while, never want to spend money when I had a perfectly wonderful light. Granted the way I have used the Lowel lights have been different from most, casting toward the ceiling and bouncing it, with a white flag adding a little splash down of light as well. Creates beautiful light. But [Read more…]
