You can ‘t say that you don’t love a wedding with a twist. I have had the honor of shooting at The Atrium at Flint Hill in Norcross, Georgia on many occasion. This event was with Spectrum Entertainment, which provided the DJ entertainment for the evening and gave me the honor of being their photographer for the evening. Matt and his team from Spectrum always keep them on the dance floor. Way to keep it going guys. I spoke of a twist. On occasion a bride and groom will have a theme, well this couple loves Star Wars. They went all out with a themed grooms cake, and the ceremonial exit was also Star Wars induced, not only with Darth Vader’s march, but a light saber arch covering the couple as they exited the alter. Much to the surprise of the groom. The night ended with a great saber battle. Great fun Dee and Clay! May the Force be with you. Hope you enjoy the slideshow.
Brides to Babies
Engagement Photography, Bridal Photography, Wedding Day Photography…..All leads to Babies!!! I have been blessed to have several brides return to me with their growing families. From maternity session to newborns, throughout their first year to their first birthday. I love seeing their families grow. I Just completed Jaime and Steven’s newborn photos today. So proud that they called me to do this for them, but wow, when Jaime mentioned they had been married for three years, time sure flies. I remember their wedding as if it were yesterday. The hottest day that summer, so hot that the bride and almost everyone else ran into the sprinklers just to cool off. A testament to the fun life they will have with their little one. And she is so cute!

Wedding In Rome Georgia at Berry College
I do have a lot, and I mean a lot of great weddings that I have loved photographing. This is definitely at the top of the list. Beautiful Bride,and Groom in his dress blues. Setting begins at the gorgeous campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia and is all facilitated by the one and only Holly Lynch and her team at The Seasons Events . Holly you sure know how to coordinate an event. Make my job so much easier, and the bride so happy. Wedding Day at the Biltmore Hotel in Atlanta
A beautiful wedding day spent with Vanessa and Joshua at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. A “modern chic” styled wedding, she like to call it, that it was. I had a lot of supporting help from cameramen Scott Smith and James Dunn. The setting was made even more beautiful by the creative hand of Christie Niq Williams. As autumn approaches the days not only grow shorter but also seem to be more enjoyable. September 23, 2012 was one of those wonderful autumn days but with the special advantage of being Devon’s and Geoff’s wedding day. It was an additionally special day for me as well, this was family and it was great to see everyone. The wedding was at the Carl House in Auburn, Georgia; one of my favorite locations to photograph, with beautiful gardens and a gorgeous old Southern mansion. Devon and Geoff, you could not have chosen a better location to share your vows. What a memorable spot.

This past weekend was filled with great experiences and wonderful people. It began September 22, 2012 with the wedding of Melanie and Jeff, the first day of autumn with a gorgeous blue sky, and fantastic autumn temperatures. The perfect addition to this superb weather was the friendly atmosphere and excitement of the bridal party and family. As you can see in the images this was a fun filled celebration, in fact I don’t remember seeing a single tear that day, just so much laughter.

Multicultural Wedding and Event Professionals (MWEP) is growing everyday. Adding new clients that will reach out and support Multicultural Weddings. Here are two new vendors, and there will be more to come. Meet April Cochran from the Alpharetta Visitors Bureau, and Elizabeth Montgomery with the Alpharetta Marriott. It is great to have them as part of this team. I have had many opportunities to photograph events at several locations within the Alpharetta area, including the Alpharetta Marriott, and I am confident they can accommodate all types of events at their beautiful locations.
