March 18-20 I had the opportunity to do video camera work for a conference for the Hunter Hotel Investment Group ,at the beautiful downtown Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Headed by key speakers Bob and Lee Hunter. The three day event covered a huge array of topics, but focusing on the hotel industry of course, such as buying and selling of hotels and renovating hotels for a greener and more efficient future. But the thing that intrigued me the most, as I battled guests that were constantly hitting our camera platform, was from the last day of the event. Keynote speaker David Morris, senior editor from the Kiplinger Letter spoke of the economy today. I have read his material before, and to hear him speak of the past gloom, and of the rising economy made me feel a bit better about where we are headed. I cannot speak of key components of his dialogue, because I was filming for the entire time and took no notes. But in my humble opinion, we are headed in the right direction as a country. To see and hear such positive speakers and the enthusiastic crowds that attended, makes for an even brighter prospect.
The team behind the scenes was with Greg Mensching at Atlanta Audio Visual. This crew was phenomenal! They create the production from the ground up. The lighting, stage, audio, music, video, you name it. Very well done guys. It was an honor and a pleasure working with you. I hope to do more work with you in the near future. Thanks to Scott Smith as well for getting me on to this project.
The food was great too.
I look forward to filming similar conferences in the future, and giving you more small insights into what we do here at Eric Little Photography.
