I do love children, and children’s’ photography. Granted it can get a little crazy, but that is part of it right? It is kind of silly to me too, to see the parents feeling out of sorts because their kids are acting silly, but that is when the pictures get interesting. It’s not all about the ‘poses’, it’s about the kids. And they do grow quickly. That is my point of this article. I do not like to publicize children’s names, where they are from, etc. That is personal information, and they are your precious gifts to enjoy and share. That is why I will call these photos, ‘Courtney’s babies’.
I had the opportunity to photograph Courtney’s babies last year, and boy how they grow. The little guy is a ‘Tank’ as Courtney has called him. I actually felt honored photographing them, with the father just retuning from Iraq. Thank you for your service to Our country, and congratulations on your little ones. The first two images are from last year, the other I took this past weekend. I love to see kids laugh, and having my little girl there making them laugh made it all the more special.
Not to make this a sales pitch, but look at these images. These little guys grew a lot within the 8 months I last saw them. Courtney wants me to be around a lot to photograph these guys growing up. She is very proud of her children, and is blessed. And wants to treasure every memory. I am glad I can document these moments. These are truly fleeting moments. Some parents I have noticed take videos or pictures only on special occasions. Some do snap every moment they can with their Iphone. Some even go to to a storefront location such as JCPenny, Wal Mart or Glamour Shots to get images taken. But do these really capture those fun moments? Does your smartphone really capture the look of the images you see above? Sales pitch over. I love what I do.
Thank you Courtney, for letting me see these memories preserved for you in photographs. And once again, Thank your husband for his service.
