Well it has been a busy few weeks. Several wedding and corporate shoots, it has been a lot to keep up with. The weather has been crazy, raining and thunderstorms one week, blazing hot the next, then back to cool weather in June! The wedding day of Jessica and Michael took place on one of the hot days, May 26th, 2012, but it did not hinder the celebration a bit. The place The Farm. Nestled in the foothills northwest of Rome, Georgia. What a location. A bit off the beaten path, but that is what makes it a definite destination in my book. Beautiful scenery, from the open fields, to the well kept horse barn, and the gorgeous Stone Cottages. What is not to love here. Very romantic feel below the Georgia pines.
Jessica was such a gorgeous bride, followed by her bridesmaids which were nearly as stunning. She was so playful with her dogs and the horses on the property, it really set her at ease. Helped in making beautiful images of her. Michael and his fellow groomsmen helped bring the whole event together, right through the reception. A temperate day will not spoil such an event. Such an event that was held together by Holly Lynch at The Season Events. A fantastic event planner, hands down! Love this lady and her crew! Her group is so much fun to work with, and everything is so spot on. I have had the opportunity to work with her on many occasions. Look for an article coming soon on The Season Events. What a way to begin the New Year. My favorite wedding venue, Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee, and Josh and Michelle. A small family affair, but it offered me even more time to spend with the bride and groom for their wedding photography. I have shot at Cuscowilla on so many occasions, I know every great location to shoot there, but I was able to create some new looks with Josh and Michelle. Something different. No matter how long you are in the wedding photography business, new clients become new friends, which help you become more creative. I hope you enjoy a few of their images.

Monica’s Bridal Photo Session went beautifully, as you can see in the images below. The sunlight was perfect and the weather could not have been better for February. Throw in a little umbrella lighting, and the images just popped. I kept wondering how Monica was coming up with so many great poses on her own when she told me she had been a teenage model. We really enjoyed the session, and I think that shows in the results. This session was before her wedding day, and I have been biting my lip wanting to post some of the images. Now the wait is over and I can share these with all. Hope you enjoy.

Meet Gaylyn & Caleb. A loving couple that picked a cool location. Indian Springs State Park, Georgia. Used to be a booming town, but time has changed that. Haven’t been to this place since I was a child. Not a big park, but it did have some great spots for images. The light was just perfect when we were on the river. Great shoot.
