Over the last several years I have had the opportunity to photograph several bat/bar mitzvahs’. Although it is from a culture different than my own, it is a celebration, a turning point in a young persons life. The families I have photographed have all been connected, either by friends or family, which has made it even more special. Being able to share this moment, taking a few family photos, and then enjoying the festivities with them has really been a pleasure. I look forward to more of these celebrations in the future. The images from the photos above took place a at The Emory Conference Center in Decatur, Georgia. To the Rosen family, thank you for having me be a part of your daughters special day.
