A few weeks ago we had a lot of bad weather in the area, heavy rains, tornadoes and high winds. This took place just the night before Connie and Mikes wedding day. Did it change their wedding day plans? Well just a little. It was an all outdoor wedding, it was chilly and a little windy and overcast. They had picked a beautiful little spot deep in the woods for their ceremony site. It was a small little island, that had a creek that surrounded it. Well this creek became a river, and needless to say the ceremony did not take place there, although we did get some great photos there. It is a special spot for the couple and the their family. Take a look at some of the images which Connie decided to jump on a swing, in her wedding dress! Before the ceremony! This swing went out over the creek! Awesome pictures. She was having a great time, and that is what Connie and Mike were all about. Laughter the whole time. And being surrounded by their seven, yes seven, daughters the laughter simply doubled. That, by the way is where the ‘Funny Farm’ came from. There were signs all over that represented just how silly this crew is. You can see the entire wedding, and all the signs at this link.
The rain had changed the plans a little, but Holly with The Seasons Events, as always, saved the day. Making everything ‘picture’ perfect. Everything always seems to run so smoothly with Holly, and just the way any Bride, and photographer, could ever dream of. From coordination of the days events to the full planning of the event. You are the best Holly, great work!
Connie and Mike, I hope you enjoy these images for years to come. I know I will certainly remember the laughs at the Funny Farm. Congratulations!
